Mahinder Chugh has over 25 years in financial services in India and 10 years as CEO of operating companies across North America.
He is currently focused on Cross Border Investing and Advisory & is the Co-founder Aura Investment Partners LLC –India –US Advisory and Investment Co. He is also the President Mumbai Chapter of Keiretsu Forum –The world’s largest Angel Investment Network.
He has served on the Board of Directors of 15 companies (11 in India, 3 in the US and 1 in Mexico). He is currently on the Advisory Boards of Linqto.Inc and Perfect Point EDM, both in CA. USA. Select directorships include Tata Johnson Controls, TATA Exports, ATX Group, USA, Freedom Group, USA.
Other key career roles include: Head of Project Advisory and M&A at ICICI and ISEC (JV between ICICI and JP Morgan), Director, Mergers & Acquisitions at Lazard( India), Partner and Head of Corporate Finance at Ernst & Young ( India), President and CEO of Supermax Corporation(USA),Chief Executive of Tata Auto Components( USA) &Managing Director, Asia-Pac, of Valiant International, USA. Based out of California, he currently divides his time between there & Mumbai.
He graduated with a Bachelor of Science with Honors, and an MBA from University of Pune, India and also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in International Trade from IIFT Delhi India.
